Born in Stirling, Scotland, James McPartlin has lived in and around Midlothian most of his life. At present, he’s situated in England. James can’t remember a time in his life that he wasn’t interested in art, especially fantasy illustration and fine art.
His passion for mythology and history has provided him with a never-ending supply of subject matter and inspiration, though he likes to use real people in his artwork as much as possible.
James’s aim with his art is to take the ordinary and make it extraordinary!
