As part of an exciting new collaboration between Epilogue and Art Scene International magazine, we will be featuring an Epilogue artist in each future issue of ASI.

Our first featured artist is Christine Griffin! A selection of her work will be on display in issue #69 of Art Scene International.

“Love is blind, perfection is boring, and so I paint portraits. Portraits are those secrets, whispered, in our mind’s eye. And what better genre than fantasy! There is a bit of the fantastical to every piece I create, be it a pet portrait or rendering of a fanciful lady pirate. Maybe that’s because my life is hardly exotic: homemaker, wife, mother of three, baker of banana muffins, and a woman in search of a hair color she can live with. Thanks in large part to Epilogue.net, a thriving on-line community for fantasy and sci-fi artists, I have found compatriots in creativity. I enjoy every media, but am currently trying to become proficient digitally. The digital format makes it especially appealing to try innumerable techniques to pump a mundane portrait full of mystery and magic. Realistic? Maybe. Believable? Indeed!”
